Wanrich Coffee Farm was established in 2015 as a family business in Trans Nzoia County. After the coffee trees failed to produce sufficient fruit in the farm's early years, one of the owners, Jane Kamau, met a representative from the Coffee Research Institute at a local agricultural event and began receiving support from the institution for efficient and high-quality production.
With this support, Jane has increased the production efficiency of her farm by 50 times in the last 6 years and has also received training on coffee exports so that she can earn a better income by selling the coffee she produces directly.
