Here we are again with another Anaerobic Rwandan coffee that will make your eyes pop open after just one sip! This coffee is grown in the Ruhango region of Rwanda's Southern Province.

This area lies in the high mountains of the Congo-Nile Basin, at an altitude of 1,650–1,850 meters. With average temperatures of 18°C–20°C, this region is considered one of the most suitable agricultural regions of the country's central plateau.

It boasts primarily luceptisol soils (volcanic, fertile, and coffee-friendly), free of clay, iron oxides, aluminum oxides, or organic matter. This is why the coffees grown here have a rich variety of flavors and an acidic and vibrant taste profile.

Gisanga washing station is a washing station where coffee cherries grown by 850 local farmers united under the Koakambu Cooperative are processed and is owned by Tropic Coffee Ltd, a family business established in 2015.

Fermented with coffee cherries in an oxygen-free environment and then naturally dried under the sun, this coffee will give you a wine-like body and acidity, as well as a fruit feast with a clean finish!
