Another great coffee from Daye Bensa Coffee, run by Asema Dukamo Korma! Rumudamo Washed!

From the coffees harvested by approximately 600 different independent coffee growers in Rumudamo, a small village in the Arbegona region, only the very best quality coffees are accepted for processing at Rumudamo Station.

Rumudamo Washing Station produced coffees that were ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 8th in the 2020 Cup of Excellence, and 9th in 2021. The Cup of Excellence is an international competition held in various coffee-producing regions of the world and selects the best coffee producers.

The "washed processing method" is preferred for this coffee. After the coffee is picked from the trees, the fruits (cherries) are separated from the beans, and the beans are washed in washing channels to remove their mucilage and then left to dry.

After the coffee beans reach the desired moisture level, they are separated from their outer shells by machines and filled into bags ready for roasting.
