Wanrich Coffee Farm was established in 2015 as a family business in Trans Nzoia County. In the early years, when the coffee trees weren't producing enough fruit, Jane Kamau, one of the owners, met a representative from the Coffee Research Institute at a local agricultural event and began receiving support from the institution to improve production efficiency and quality.
With this support, Jane has increased the farm's production efficiency 50-fold in the last 6 years and has also received training in coffee export to improve their income by selling their coffee directly.
